
Before I was a mother I was an arrow
A hawk on the wind
Focusing on the twitch of a blade of grass with deathly precision

Put walls here a window there
Made sure the corridors are straight and long and empty to the gardens
So that breezes can flow through
Arrows bounce off the cool stone walls
And I split into a burst of crows
Called a murder
